The right address.
The right entrance.
A few Duluth details that make a lock or key conversation easier. Start with where the problem actually is, then add the landmark that helps explain it.
A Duluth address can cover more than the city map.
Start with the street number, street name and unit, if there is one. A Duluth mailing address does not automatically describe the municipal boundary. The city’s Maps & GIS page links its CityView address and place resources if you want to check the geography.
You do not need to work out a parcel boundary before asking a lock question. The useful customer detail is where the door or vehicle actually is. Add a familiar landmark only after the address, especially along the wider Pleasant Hill Road and Satellite Boulevard corridors.
Downtown has several different entrances.
Town Green, Main Street and Parsons Alley are useful downtown reference points. They do not all refer to one building, one parking deck or one controlled entrance. For a private shop door, say which side of the premises is affected. For a vehicle, give the parking location rather than the address of the restaurant or event you visited.
The downtown parking information distinguishes the deck below Courtyard by Marriott, with street-level Hill Street and lower Ridgeway Road access, from other downtown parking. Use the current operator instructions for where to park. Parking rules, access and charges are not set by this site.
A park name may still leave two possibilities.
Gwinnett County lists a historic entrance and a park entrance for McDaniel Farm on McDaniel Road. If an outing there is the reference for a parked car, specify which entrance and the actual parking position. See the county’s park information for the distinct locations.
The city’s park directory also identifies places such as Bunten Road Park and Rogers Bridge Park. For a home nearby, give the household address rather than the park’s public address. A landmark reference does not imply work for, access to or an affiliation with the place.
At Gas South District, name the venue and parking position.
Gas South District has different parking recommendations for the Arena, Convention Center and Theater. A deck name, level or nearby sign can be more useful than saying only that you are “at Gas South.” Follow the venue operator’s current directions, which can vary with the event.
For a vehicle-key question, the car’s year, make, model and remaining working keys matter too. Questions about the venue’s gates or managed building access should go to the operator. A private vehicle request is separate from control of a venue entrance.
Put the useful details into one sentence.
Try: “My car is in this deck, on this level, and the key is inside,” or “I am at this house number, and the back-door key will not turn.” You do not need the name of an internal lock component. Say whether you can enter now, whether another working key exists and who can approve changes to the hardware.
Call 678-365-0092 to discuss availability for that address. Ask how the estimate is defined and what work is included. If the issue is a key that should no longer work, start with rekeying; if the door itself is unreliable, describe that under lock repair.
